DC Power System with Thyristor Design
SPPL's DC power system with thyristor-controlled design consists of a manual or fully automatic boost and floating charge type thyristor controller charger / rectifier, housed in a cabinet. It is designed for used in combination with both nickel cadmium vented or lead acid (wet or maintenance free) type stationary storage batteries. The DC power system can be modified for different voltages (12 - 220 VDC) and output ratings (3A - 1000A).

SPPL's DC power system with switchmode design can compare with the conventional thyristor-controlled design feature smaller size and improved performance characteristics such as higher efficiency, lower output voltage ripple, higher power factor and low noise output with or without battery connected. The system ranges from 10A to 6000A in 24VDC and 48VDC. The available models consist of:
